Butland - 3, absolute horror show from Butland, once again letting another goal in down his left side and proved shakey throughout. Another shakey performance followed up from st mirren.

Yilmaz -6, offered a lot going. Forward linking well with Cortes and Matondo however caught out a couple of times at the back, a player who looks a bit rusty done well for the assist.

Sterling - 5. Cannot give more than a 5 as he was equally at fault for the opener.

Proper - 5. Bullied by the Motherwell front line in the first half and had a mare for the opener, improved in the second half.

Tavernier- 6- engine going forward was well but found suspect in defence again, high mark than others due to output in the second half.

Raskin -7. Only shining light in the starting XI. Was asked to do an awful lot based on the performances of those around him.

Cortes - 6- looked a player who was rusty but showed flashes of class, could have done better when provided a 1 on 1 by dessers.

Diomande - 5 perhaps guilty of doing too much or not enough but not a good day at the office for the normally cool headed player.

Dowell - 3. Would have been better playing the invisible man, dispossesed too many times and not strong enough against Motherwell.

Danilo -6, not a great first half from him however improved well with the introduction of Igamane.

Dessers - 5. Terrible first half miss early doors, however good work to set up Cortes chance.

Subs

Igamane - 8 two well taken goals from the young man and provided a bit of much needed quality and composure in front of goal.

Cerny - 6.5 offered his usual efforts and was often in good positions a lot of leg work.

Matondo - 6 good to see him back offered his usual pace, bit of rust as expected with the long lay off.

Bajrami -N/A 10 minute cameo not long enough to make an impact due to stoppages in the game
