Butland - 5 - wasn’t much at fault for the goal but his goal lived a charmed life in the first half.

Jefte - 4 - positional sense was okay but decision making questionable. Poor showing after a decent display on Tuesday.

Souttar - 6 - had to hold the door himself for the last half hour after the red card.

Djiga - 3 - cannot rate any higher due to the red card. Was caught out as the last man by the dundee striker.

Aaron’s - 5 - tired performance after Tuesday. But a very average performance.

Rothwell - 5.5 - moments of class but wasn’t strong enough in the midfield in my opinion. Guilty of too many safe passes and not enough penetrating passes.

Diomande - 4.5- relatively quiet game from Diomande except a shot on a target. Guilty of expecting others to make things happen rather than trying to engineer things himself

Cameron - 6 - typical energetic performance and some nice movement. Ran his feet out.

Gassama - 6.5 - full of running throughout the game, done well to win the penalty with an aggressive run. When we went down to 10.

Antman - 6 - full of industry and a few moments of quality looked leggy towards the end of the game.

Dessers - 4 - after a strong night in Tuesday there was moments of being physically strong but equal moments of not being strong enough. Offside for a possible winner.

Substitutes

Dowell - 4 - came on with 35 minutes to play, got himself into some good position but never able to do anything of value in them, either over hitting passes or crosses to nobody.

Raskin - 6.5 - played with aggression and covered a lot of ground. And tried to help the defence where he could.

Danilo - 4 - couldn’t really get a foothold in the game. Was hustling for a touch of the ball and more helped in the defensive actions.

Tavernier - 6.5 - played well when he came in, won his challeneges and stepped up once again from the spot for the equaliser.

Curtis - 5 - on for the last 13 plus added time. Not much time for the youngster to make an impact took up some good positions.
